It’s Easy

There’s an easy way to affect change.
We can monitor our words.
Omit everyday derogatory terms that go unnoticed, such as “gypped (gipped),” “felon,” “thug,” and “Indian giver.”
We can stop using terms such as “bipolar,” “ADHD,” and “retarded” as adjectives to describe a person’s attitude and intelligence, and we can be mindful of casual misogyny, calling people “douchebag,” “b*tch,” and “pussy” as insults.
There is power in words.
