Exuding
Because I wasn’t allowed to explore my sexuality, I had no idea how powerful it was—and I was exuding it. Like an oblivious kid walking down a long hallway with a “kick me” sign on my back. Except my sign read “use me.” I didn’t know I was a target. I learned the hard way.

The word, It still holds power. I try it out on my lips, It makes me flinch. It plays unwanted scenes before my mind. I force the word out, offended by its existence.
